Essential Functions: Report to VP- Taxation 1. Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring any prompt payment discounts are taken 2. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * 2 years accounting, quality, process improvement and managerial level experience * 1-2 years of high volume accounts payable processing experience * 2 years managing people within financial operations * Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead clerical, supervisory and exempt staff * Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence people * Strong knowledge of procurement to payment process * Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, workflow analysis and internal controls * Familiarity with software applications, databases and spreadsheets including Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and mainframe systems * Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) (Emphasis in Accounting or Finance desired) * Previous direct supervisory experience in an organized labor environment preferred .
